What is Still Life?

Still Life is a form of art where the artist depicts inanimate objects, like fruit or flowers or other objects that you would commonly find in a home. Still lifes are usually made to be symbolic, representing the owners of the object or capturing the beauty of simple objects, or to represent some sort of story. It is also a good form of art in which to capture ideal composition, because it is usually a fairly simple composition in a still life.
